Active Youth Education and Cultural Research Association
We were founded in Istanbul in 2011. We work to support young people taking an active role in different areas of public life.
Mission and goals
Spreading a culture of democratic citizenship, volunteering, intercultural dialogue and personal growth among young people is our core motivation. Within that frame we reach each age group through a different channel:
- Local and international youth exchange projects under Erasmus+
- Training mobilities for youth workers
- Individual volunteering placements
- Sport, healthy living and technology workshops
- Academic mentoring and coding courses
What we do
Coordination of Erasmus+ projects with international partners; design and delivery of local activities.
Recurring workshops on coding, academic support, healthy living and intercultural dialogue.
A monthly zine and a blog producing content around health, technology and travel.
City tours, cultural events and community meet-ups that bring young people together.
