Youth exchange As partner

Healthy and Strong

A youth exchange with participants aged 13-30 from seven countries on physical activity, nutrition and psychophysical health.

Today, with the modern way of life, young people are affected by the culture of video games, virtual reality and social media. Young people are subject to poor diet, lack of exercise, and abuse of substances such as alcohol, tobacco and drugs. They are under fashion pressure, which has a serious adverse impact on mental and physical health and well-being. These cause low self-esteem, lack of confidence, obesity, stress and poor health. Lack of physical activity, disconnection with nature and consumption of fast and unhealthy foods put the physical image of your body into question. These problems were particularly evident in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overcoming the consequences of isolation in the psychosomatic aspect, and techniques for restoring the body from the effects of long isolation, are a contemporary matter. The main aim of the youth exchange "Healthy and Strong" is to improve the healthy lifestyle of young people in the partner countries by raising awareness of the benefits of physical exercise and healthy eating, and by acquiring skills to improve psychophysical health. Objectives: - Engage young people aged 13-30 from 7 countries in Europe to gain intercultural experience and explore the differences and habits in each country that contribute to health and mental health problems. - Sharing ideas and gaining knowledge and experience through non-formal learning methods on the topic of healthy living. - Exchange of good practices and experiences related to the prevention of diseases caused by lack of exercise and poor eating habits.
