EXTENSIVE GENERATION

Extensive Generation is a newly-formed informal group of young people from Romania created by enthusiastic and proactive young citizens from different backgrounds. They decided to put together strong will and motivation, passion, responsibility and experience in order to contribute to more cohesive and safer communities. They are ready to create positive impact in the social, educational and personal development of young people from Romanian communities, but not only. The aim of EXTENSIVE GENERATION is to foster inclusion through active engagement of young people across diverse spheres of life, promoting personal growth and evolution, democratic citizenship, volunteering and social entrepreneurship. We also strive to nurture the skills and potential of young people from various social and ethnic backgrounds, as well as those with disabilities. Another crucial aspect is empowering young individuals, including those with fewer opportunities (disabilities, health problems, cultural differences, social/economic/geographic barriers) from communities we are active in. Members of the informal group commit to assist and support each other and promote personal and social development within their community. Some of our objectives are: - to create and implemet learning mobilities of young people; - to promote inclusion and equal participation in social activities and learning opportunities; - to encourage the initiatives of young people at local and international level; - to support interests and tallents of young people from different social groups; - to support the active involment of young people in various areas of public life; - raising awareness about the benefits and opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ / Eurodesk / ESC programs; Values that guide our actions are: diversity, development through education and empowerment. In summary, we are here to contribute to safer, more inclusive, and cohesive communities. We are committed to continuously learn and evolve while supporting the development of young people through education.
